And Here we go again…

The war has not been won, but a small battle has seen the face of victory. Last week was a test of not only endurance, but strategy at game plan. This week we are on to a whole new set of characters to see who will Avenge a Thursday night victory.

Starting the Line up, we have the man with the hammer… Ed “Thor “ Grant. Now Ed, you might say, has a body of a Greek God, but its not all looks when it comes to battle. Ed has a wide variety of skills including using his hammer to denounce his competitors, and also wooing the ladies to set a gentle rage amongst enemies. Don’t expect Ed to come out of the gate hot; leave that to the others. He will be drafting off his competition like the body suit of Apollo Ono. Watch out for this one… and his hammer.

The All American Christopher “Captain” Andrews will be making his debut on the Thursday night battle circuit. He has yet to even prove his worth amongst the others with years of experience, but this rookie is up to the task. He has been quoted saying “Oh ..Say, Can you See… “then comes the punch in the face.. followed by “now you can’t see.” Complete savagery from the Captain, but that’s what makes him a good candidate for a W on Thursday night. Watch out for this one… this pretty boy will sure be a fan favorite.

Now you may be wondering why we are letting a beast into this battle. That’s a good question; we don’t know either. But here we are! Joe “the Hulk” Mortali has broken through the scene bigger and badder than ever! His rage has allowed him to beat down the will power of his enemies and stomp on the hopes and dreams of little children all around the world.  Joe doesn’t always have these beastly attributes, he will sometimes turn back into the gentle teddy bear persona his parents commented about. Whatever you do, do not get him stressed. I would tell you to ask Ms Karen’s 4th grade class… but no one has seen them…

Next Up, we have Derrick “Ironman” Bell. Derrick doesn’t actually have any superpowers, which is ok because of innovative ways to battle his enemies. He uses his mind and his blanket that he wears under his shirt to help him with his strength. Some call it chest hair but really it’s a secret blanket with enough power to battle him through each fight! Derrick not only fights for his people, but he also fights for the love of his Albanian princess. Derrick has been known to wear many different hats in battle, but don’t think along the lines of Clark Griswald… because the scene has been set for Ironman to show his true colors. & Im not talking Christmas lights.

Don’t miss out this Thursday night at 8:00 at North Haven Crossfit. You will not be disappointed with these 4 stepping into the arena for a battle of a lifetime… See you there!
